14 October 2003: Round the World yachtswoman Tracy Edwards today announced a 4 year sponsorship deal with Qatar for her 110 foot multihull yacht Maiden 2. The deal is worth an incredible £38 million over a four year period and includes not only sponsorship for Edwards' maxi-catamaran but also two new events, The Oryx Cup in 2005 and The Qatar Sports Global Challenge in 2006.
